Freezer Jam 2006
Sorry about the copyrights and
crap, but this only belongs to me by half now, they have to be
there.
Logo for the Mid-West Conference of Fifers and Drummers,
also known as Freezer Jam. This was used on programs, fliers, shirts,
buttons and posters.
Okay, I bet you're all wondering what my beef
was with this. Look at it, it's black and white, RIGHT? They told me to do
it in black and white, so I did. When the shirts, buttons and etc. were
finally brought in, one thing stood out to me the most, it was
colored.
I'm not really pissed about the color, it looks
nice, I'm just pissed about the fact they never asked me for permission to
color it, or asked me to color it in the first place. Not to mention when
it was colored a drum stick (the lower one) was covered up by the drum, so
it looks like it's behind it and CRAPPY. UHG. When I asked them why they
colored it and why they didn't ask me to do it first, they just
shrugged.
The fuck if I'm doing business with them again without
laying down some strict rules and like... a contract or something. Sure, I
wasn't paid (save for two free shirts) but it's just common
respect, you don't go coloring someone's work when they never said
that you could.
I wouldn't be that mad even if they just TOLD me
they were going to do it, I would have been FINE with it. Adobe
